Orderly dissolution of a company through the appointment of Liquidators and Judicial Managers
How do I obtain this service?
As soon as a Company has been placed under liquidation application must be made to the master for the appointment of a provisional liquidator or liquidator as ordered by court. If the Company has been placed under judicial management application will be made to the master for a certificate authorizing the judicial manager to take up that office.
How do I apply for the service?
Once a liquidator, or judicial manager has been appointed they take over the administration of the Company and all enquiries must be forwarded to them. Any other issues must be brought to the two statutory meetings of creditors for discussion and resolution.
Cost involved in obtaining the service.
Costs for the liquidation of the company are part of the costs of liquidation and must be included in the liquidation and distribution account as the master’s fee. Liquidators fees will be approved by the creditors at the creditors meetings.
